On December 9, 2021 Slices of Thomaston ownership was passed from Stacy and Barb Johnston to locals Jared and Elizabeth Huckaby. Slices was built from the ground up to become one of the top restaurants in Thomaston. That tradition will be continued as well as the addition of many other upgrades. Menu additions include over 30 new beers and wines, Gluten Friendly menu options and a full bar for cocktails and mixed drinks. New TV's will be added, more exterior seating and the extension of the current days of operation to a full 7 day week will begin on January 3, 2022.

Slices Pizzeria is in the home stretch to open it's all new Zebulon location. Previous owners of Slices Thomaston will be opening the all new location in late February, early March in the all new Pike Plaza Shopping Center in Pike County. Slices of Pike will offer the same huge selection of beer and wine as well as the same menu items, Along with the signature Slices recipe, the exciting atmosphere and fun family environment will be a staple in Pike just as it has been in Upson.
